What does Xtreme BOTS bring to the table?
XtremeBOTS offers students an opportunity to design, build, problem solve, develop teamwork and hopefully crush the competition in a 3 minute battle. Similar to the nationally televised BattleBots, XtremeBOTS are 1lb, 3lb or 15lb robots, generally with a weapon, that compete in several battles throughout the day leading towards the ultimate champion!
Fall event:
The fall event is for 1 pound bots only

The top 15 pound High School battling robotics teams from around the United States will gather in Springfield Ohio to battle it out for the ultimate National Robotics League Championship title!
The 15lb BOTS will have a separate HS & College division.
(The winners of the 15 pound category will advance to the NRL Nationals on Saturday May 10th.)
The 3lb BOTS will be a combined HS / College - unless we have enough teams to run separate brackets.
The 1lb BOTS will be a combined Middle School / High School division.
BATTERIES:
We are now allowing Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries. All the rules are listed at the bottom of this page.
